European standardization on interoperability of film
databases The CEN enquiry for the draft standard
prEN 15907 "Film identification – Enhancing interoperability
of metadata – Element sets and structures"
was launched on 26 February and will last until 26 July.
Comments should be sent via national
standardization bodies. National standardization bodies should
be able to provide you with a copy of the document.

The European standard EN 15744 "Film identification
- Minimum set of metadata for cinematographic works"
is already approved, and it will be published in the
